Squirting: The Other Way to Get Wet!

Squirting! AKA “female” ejaculation (though no need to gender it).
So...What is it?
Squirting or ejaculating is the act of emitting fluid when aroused from the urethra, often with orgasm. While folks assigned male at birth may be more familiar with this activity, those assigned female often receive little to no information about it. Many people find that squirting is most commonly achieved through g-spot stimulation. The ejaculate is the clearish fluid that gets produced; averaging anywhere between a few drops to 30ml, or about the size of a shot glass. Cheers to that!
Since the fluid comes from the urethra, many folks assume that it is urine--but it’s actually very similar (chemically) to prostatic fluid.
Speaking of prostatic fluid--we get the G in g-spot from Ernst Gräfenberg, the German gynecologist who researched it, but its anatomical name is the Prostata Femina, which is Latin for the “Female Prostate.” Now, again- there’s no need to gender parts of our bodies, but understanding that the g-spot is similar or “homologous” to the prostate helps us better understand this wonderful anatomical feature.
Looking to try squirting? Here are some helpful tips to get you started!
Get Turned On! The g-spot is accessed best vaginally (about 1-3 inches inside, depending on the body), and can be stimulated indirectly through the anterior wall- aka towards the front of the body. The g-spot shows itself best when you're aroused, since it will swell with fluids and become easier to stimulate--so make sure you’re already turned on before you go exploring! Try some external stimulation on the clitoris before diving in.
Come Hither - The tried and true way for stimulating the g-spot. If the person is lying on their back it can be accessed by inserting a finger or two inside the vagina, and curling those fingers up like you’re beckoning someone to come closer. The pressure can feel phenomenal, and may also cause a sensation similar to the feeling of needing to pee. If you’re not using fingers, you’ll want to use something else to create that similar curve, like our g-spot toys.
Blended Orgasm - Don't limit your external touch to foreplay. Stimulating the g-spot while also providing clitoral stimulation can lead to an amazing full-bodied orgasm. This can be done through mouths, fingers, and of course… vibrators!
Enjoy yourselves!
