Medical Note: Some find these a bit wide for easy insertion or removal, even with lubricant. Those who have had a hysterectomy, are undergoing chemotherapy, or who are post-menopausal sometimes have difficulty with this product. They may find that a slim dildo like the Charm 1 is easier to use. While it doesn't isolate the PC muscle in the same way, it can be much more comfortable.

Tried it right after sex so it went in very easily. Taking it out was more difficult than I anticipated-better to be lying down when you do this. Sturdy construction, attractive design--I like the little indentation under the loop which helps insertion. The loop is soft enough that it doesn't poke or pinch. Will try it while active to get better idea of benefit.
So my single smartball arrived today. It was well packaged and shipping was fast. I was able to insert the smartball without a problem (and with little lube, btw). But at this point I'm not sure what to think. *I think* the ball is well placed and is usually comfortable. I do experience very slight discomfort when I transition from standing to sitting or when bending over. I'm hoping that will dissipate with use.
My main objection (and cause for my low-ish rating) is really out of Good Vibration's control - the lack of instructions. While ample information is provided on the product insert in French, Spanish, and German (I think) there are no English instructions. So I have no idea if I'm using the product properly. And, unfortunately, without instructions, I have no idea when/if I should transition up to the two-smartball set.
I'm an active 20 something, so I figured no way would I be out of range for these. The size didn't seem an issue, as I have other toys in this range and a regular partner. However, these are NOT forgiving of any tightness. I was hoping to spice up my Kegels but I could barely get one ball of the duo in after some play beforehand, and it was tough to achieve even that. The worst part is the pinching/friction with the plastic retrieval piece. I gave up with this toy- looks great, but proceed with caution if toys in this size range are tight at all- the teneo is NOT forgiving.
I'm not really sure what to think of these. I bought the dual set and I'm wishing now I bought just the single. They are far larger than they appear and I have a very difficult time getting them in place. On top of this, the hard raised design on them can make it right painful. I don't understand the point of those. But once they are in place, it doesn't hurt and I suppose they do their job. But it's such a hassle and process to get them in, I have to be really aroused to accommodate these things, that I rarely use them.
If you're on the smaller side or have a sensitive vagina, I would not recommend these, or at least get the singular ball.
OK, so I missed the part about these possibly being difficult if you've had a hysterectomy. I have, and they are... a bit. Insertion isn't a problem, especially as I spent years using o.b. tampons and menstrual cups, so I was used to that concept. Removal: yikes! Definite pinch most times, no matter how slowly I try to go. Still, bearable. On the other hand, I'm not feeling any particular vibration while they're in, maybe a teeny little pleasant pressure, and not noticing any difference in "tightness," so maybe I wasn't "loose" to begin with, but having had that hysterectomy, I just wanted to be sure I wouldn't run into problems later with pelvic floor weakness.
All in all, I'll continue to use them, as a preventative measure, in case they do work - but sadly, I'm not having the excitement some of the reviewers are!
I’ve been using the Duo for about a month now, and while I haven’t noticed my orgasms getting any stronger (which may be a good thing, to be honest. I occasionally pass out for a few seconds if they’re strong enough already!), I’ve definitely noticed that my body will clench down harder on toys as I come.

Not only did it feel like it was working my muscles but it also really turned me on. Which is the only reason I have not worn them outside the house. I have a feeling having an orgasm in the middle of grocery shopping would be a little odd. The other bonus is that you can keep them in as long as you want. Whether it’s 15 minutes a day or hours a day, it will work your muscles as long as you want them to.
Overall I would highly recommend these to those who want to tighten and strengthen their pelvic muscles. I was a little intimidated, but now that I’ve used them several times, I’m glad I have them for exercise and pleasure.

All in all, I love the Smartballs. They're easy to use, effective, and totally discreet. You could wear these anywhere, during virtually any activity and - unless you have trouble concealing your... uh... true feelings - no one would ever have any idea. Since they're silicone, they're a snap to clean up. Just wash them with a little mild soap, and you're good to go.

They were comfortable and definitely made my vaginal muscles work. They have my approval and get five stars!

Every woman should be issued a set of these.
It only took a few uses to start seeing results and with in a week it was amazing. Everything is tighter and no more dribbling urine when I sneeze which is mostly why I got them. Easy to clean too.
My fiance works out of town and boy did I suprise him when he got home! He loves how tight I am now and so do I.
