Safer Sex, Dysphoria, and Making Love to the Trans Body
Part 2: Opening up to Others
Tuesday, October 21st 2014
This 3-part workshop series will explore various aspects of what safer sex and sexuality mean for people who identify as Trans. This series aims to empower those who wish to learn how to love themselves and how to encourage others to explore their bodies in an open, respectful, non-judgmental space and in a conversational context with other Trans-identified people.
These workshops will explore how to map the journey to pleasure for individuals as well as partners, while acknowledging both the challenges and joys of the process. Please note that these workshops are open to Trans-identified participants only, with the exception of Part 3, which is open to partners of Trans-identified people. The workshops will be led by the BodyImage4Justice team, a non-profit organization that aims to bring the LGBTQ community together through the common cause and interest of body image, health and wellness.
Part 2 explores Trans sexualities and partnered sex. We will discuss safer sex, kinky sex, and other paths to pleasure while keeping it consensual. The workshops will be led by the BodyImage4Justice team, a non-profit organization that aims to bring the LGBTQ community together through the common cause and interest of body image, health and wellness.
