Description:
Anne Semans and Cathy Winks Long one of our best-selling books -- and a mainstay in college classrooms across the nation -- The Good Vibrations Guide to Sex returns with this fully updated, up-to-the-minute third edition. This comprehensive guide covers an astoundingly wide spectrum of topics relevant to anyone exploring their sexuality in the new millennium, from basic anatomy and physiology to sex toys, sexual negotiation, erotica and much, much more. All orientations. 2002, 338 pp.
Reviews: The difference between this and any other 'best' guide is that this one's addressed to all readers: women and men; het, bi, trans and gay; 'able-bodied' and differently-abled. It is truly the most chairful, inclusive and candid A-B-C of the sexual dynamics that this reviewer's ever had the pleasure to peruse. -- Rebecca Gray, AVN Online, Jan 2004

Everything and More December 8, 2010

This book covers just about everything anyone could want to know about sex, the body, toys, and even some mental situations that most schools won't even get near.

Covers anatomy, becoming orgasmic, masturbation, sex over a lifetime, lubrication, toys, fantasies, penetration, media, power play, safer sex, and on and on. Illustrated. Personal stories punctuate educational content. Sex positivity in this book means it presents information for you to make your own decisions- it's never judgmental or withholds content for safety reasons. Its one of the only guides that wants to explain everything for every one. Earnest, even tone; discussion of trans issues limited.
Loved It! December 8, 2010

I loved this book! I bought it a couple of years ago and am excited everytime I pick it up! It gives me great ideas for the sack and how to make her happier once I get her there! I (a male) have also always enjoyed anal play and this book allows me to expand on the enjoyment rather than feel dirty or guilty about it. I love the quotes in it, as well. I know, now, my fantacies, some of which I was ashamed of, are quite common and there is nothing to feel guilty about. The authors are obviously very open-minded and don't judge people on what they enjoy. I recommend this book to everyone and will enjoy it for years to cum!!

I bought this book for my father and his fiance, because I think it has a wealth of information. There's something for everyone! From talking to kids about sex (my little siblings will benefit from this) to sex and aging, and just about every topic in between, I think he'll get a lot of use out of it. (And I got to read it before I wrapped it up for him!)
