I love my Hitachi. LOVE. But I do not love how gross and discolor and cracked the top gets after a couple of years. I was so excited to see somebody finally came out with the solution. I bought the ridged version and it fits perfectly on my Hitachi, is easy to get on/off and so easy to clean. I love the idea of being able to use with my partners and not have to worry.

The Silicone Pop Top is snug fitting, so it takes quite a bit of effort to pull it on. Once in place though, it wraps your wand head securely in a nice, thick layer of plushy silicone. It's pretty damn cool. This layer does muffle the vibrations a wee bit, making it a touch gentler, and quieter. A bit quieter. It's still a noisy toy! The ridges aren't as intense as they look, since the silicone is somewhat squishy and supple. There's enough give to the material that those ripple molded into the cap feel pretty nice, both pressed and rubbed onto my bits. Since it adds size to the head, you end up with even larger, rounded Magic Wand head, which I found I to be good and bad. The larger size does work against me a bit for using this in partner sex, but I am pretty determined, creative, possessed...when it comes to getting my wand between my guy and myself when I want it there. But it also gives even more vibrating area, and more diffused power which feels good, though different. The ridges give more of a 'pinpointing ability' than a smooth head too, which was odd to get used to, but felt nice.
