Harmless, a bit dissappointing July 8, 2009

It was ok, but for me a bit boring. I can see that some people love it, but for me it turned out that the lack of shape to it (it's all smooth) was not a good thing, and it was not stiff enough for me - too squishy. The size was so-so for me. I have the non-curved one. Oh well! I can see that it worked for others!

We found the silk 1,2 & 3, dildos disapointing. Described on the GV site as "smooth", and "firm" I didn't find them any firmer than a "jelly" dildo. This wigglyness and squishiness of the "silk" products resulted in neither me or my partner experiencing much sensation during use for either vaginal or anal play- we did try.

This was a great purchase to foray into "toy play" with my new partner. She's highly sexual but hasn't used toys much. I'm better than good at hitting her gspot manually, so after we tried this vaginally, we tried anal play--while we're both relatively new to it, the combination was intense for her.
This is a very soft, pliable material that is firm enough to take advantage of its curve, yet stiff enough to be, well, stiff enough.
The wide base makes it easy to maneuver and hold, and clean up is simple and easy. The smaller one is a great starter, and the medium size is perfect. I look forward to more purchases after being away from Good Vibes for too long!

High quality, smooth, right amount of flex, easy to clean. (Silicon is non-porous so soap and water cleaning is adequate.)
The wide base makes the dildo easy to hold and set aside.
The smallest one, is not much bigger than a finger. I purchased it on the recommendation of my sex therapist for treatment of vaginismus (spasm).
The medium sized one is the next step for treatment. I'd say it's the size of an average penis. It also penetrates me comfortably.
The large one just is really too big for me. This might be right for someone who's had a vaginal childbirth.
For continued vaginismus treatment, I need a size that's in between the medium and large size.

This is the perfect toy for anal play. Its smooth and simple design makes it ideal for the booty, especially for beginners. I have used other dildos that are thicker and bulbous but since I'm a beginner with anal play they were a bit much for me. I recommend using Silk if you're just starting out. Another great thing about it is that it completely lives up to its name; it's very very silky and that feels absolutely wonderful. It's the softest dildo I've used.
