Cute, but has flaws. January 6, 2012

I got this because I was looking for a bullet vibe to try, and I thought the design was cute. I've only used this one three times since I bought it.

The first time, I held it against my clitoris during sex, and it was nice. The vibrations were actually stronger than I expected.

But after the second time I used this, I had to change the batteries. This bullet takes three watch batteries, too, so it was kind of annoying that it eats through them that quickly. It did come packaged with 6 batteries, so that was appreciated.

The third time I used this, I took it in the bath with me. It seems to have survived the ordeal.

I wouldn't buy this one again, but I tend to like the mini vibe shape more than bullet vibes.

When I first got this, I loved it. Because it's so small, I could use it wherever I would use my fingers...with my partner or going solo. But I found that the batteries ran out too quickly. Just recently I replaced the batteries and although it runs, it is very weak. The concept is great. The mechanics...not so much. Would not buy another Speeding Bullet Mini, but will try something similar with better ratings.

I loved this little guy. It was my first vibrator, and it worked great the first few times. I took another reviewer's advice and stored it with the batteries taken out, and it lasted well those first few weeks. THEN I used it in the shower, got lazy, and didn't pop open the case to remove the batteries. A little tiny bit of water had gotten inside, and I'm pretty sure it corroded the working bits by the time I got it out again a few days later. The same thing had happened a few days before, but I'd been smart enough then to open the case and dry out the inside before the water could do any damage. But now, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and when it does, a set of batteries only lasts for one use. Definitely a depressing outcome. While it worked, it was remarkably powerful for such a little thing and had a great feel to it--not too hard, not too soft. But if you're not overly careful, it'll crap out on you, and that's just annoying. And, also, the type of battery it requires is rather expensive, and it asks for three of them, which it now eats through in about thirty minutes. Meh.

This would be a five-star review and my perfect vibe if it wasn't for one thing-- it eats through batteries like crazy. I had to switch them twice in less than two weeks, and that's with sporadic use and storing the vibe without the batteries in it.

But if you don't mind the battery issue it's a fantastic toy. Powerful but pretty quiet, innocuous looking, water-resistant, easy to clean. And I really like the different modes. The speed and the pattern of the pulsing changes so it's nice if you like a slow build or to throw in some variety.

This was great the first time I used it- quiet, powerful, didn't mind somebody seeing it since it looks so nondescript... but it stopped working by the time I tried to use it a 2nd time. Just dead, no reason at all. Weird.
