The rippling sensation is a nice break from vibration or physical ridges, though the way the little plastic discs jut out to punch the outer sleeve can be weird if you get it at a bad angle. Think being tapped by something small, like a pencil, instead of the rippling you were expecting.

The noise it makes, though, is god awful. It's not just the loudness, it's the nature of the noise. It sounds like some sort of miniature construction equipment. And it doesn't stay a constant noise/loudness, but rather gets higher pitched or louder at random times. It's distracting. I don't have issues with a roommate who would hear it, and I still consider the noise a major drawback. Getting startled by the noise of your own vibrator is off putting.

I'm a huge fan of the rabbit portion on this one, though. It's just right for me. I also really like that you have three speeds for the rabbit, three speeds for the shaft, and can change them independently. The thick smooth shaft is also something I find I like.

I bought this based upon the reviews and I had another version of the Rabbit that I enjoyed for a few years. However, this does not even come close in comparison. The movement of the shaft is a very slight wiggle and the vibration intensity of the rabbit ears is average at best, nowhere near the 5 rating as stated. I don't know if the material it is made out of muffles this or what, but it just does not do it for me. It's not like I need a lot of stimulation or direct vibration either (the Hitachi wand is too much for me). If you like/need very little stimulation this may work for you, however for me it was a huge waste of money. Used it once and put it in the drawer not to be used again. There are cheaper vibes that work much better. Shop around.

I've got to say I've worn out a few rabbit vibrators over the last few years. The one I have now is packed away in a box which is in transit as I just moved :( I packed it on purpose because it would give me an excuse to get a newer and fully functional one because I knew I'd be back in San Francisco, and Good Vibrations would be there to save me.

I shopped online and looked at the different rabbit vibes and decided on this one because the shaft motion was different. Honestly, for me the shaft part of it is the first thing on these vibes to go because my PC-muscles are pretty strong. So one that undulates I had to try! The fact that you can also reverse the direction of it makes it feel a bit more real, and that's a nice touch.

I've used it a couple of times and, yeah, definitely it was screaming orgasm time. However, what I don't like is when you turn the undulating feature on it gets LOUD. There is really no way around that either. Since I'm now in a houseshare situation, that sucks. But I'll have to get around it by 1) locking my door and 2) turning up the music.

I initially gave it 5-stars but it being so loud IS an issue, so I've dropped it to 4-stars. It has given me 5-star orgasms though.
