I was a die-hard fan of the mini-bullet until I found the Pearl.

Once you snap the thing open once, it's not difficult at all to change the battery (and much easier and affordable than those silly watch batteries!)

The design of the Pearl makes it thicker at one end, which gives you something to hold onto, and the option of different intensities at either side.

It's cute and discreet - easy to slip in a purse - and the price is hard to beat.

I got this as part of the Tools of the Trade kit. This thing isn't difficult to open if you do pull super hard on it, but it also apparently isn't as waterproof as it claims to be.

It seems that water got inside the battery chamber after the first use, so even though I cleaned it thoroughly, it died on me and the battery compartment stank of stale water when I opened it to try a fresh battery the next time, so I ended up throwing it away. The terminals inside were corroded and I wasn't able to clean them. I tried to give it a second chance, but I guess it had only one go 'round in it.

I know it's supposed to be simple and discreet, but the one speed it has is rather loud, isn't adequate enough to even tickle me, and I'm not usually one to require super strong vibrations. Save your money. Good Vibes has lots of stuff far superior to this.

People who are complaining about not being able to open it are not following the instructions. It says "pop off" and that is exactly what you have to do. You just grab the top and pull hard. It pops off. Again, pull HARD. It took me a minute to open it the first time, because I was afraid to pull too hard. Don't be afraid, just pull it.

I'm happy with this vibe. The shape and size is super. The intensity isn't strong, but at least it's quiet and waterproof.

Directions say, "just snap it open, insert battery and snap shut!" If only it were that easy. I can't speak to how well it works because I can't even get it open to add the AA battery.

Great for traveling.

I used to have a lipstick vibe that was narrower, and easier to fit into tight spots (my bf and I are bigger people)
I definitely get my $$ worth from this, although I would prefer if you could vary the speed.
