SAN FRANCISCO – (September 24, 2007): Good Vibrations, the legendary Bay Area company that takes pride in providing educational materials and accurate information on sexuality and toys for grown-ups, has become a date-night destination with GV Weekend Events.

For over 30 years, Good Vibrations has made it their mission to enhance customers’ sex lives and promote healthy attitudes about sex. As the premier provider of sex-positive products and information, they now host free fun-filled weekly events.

The fun classes and cultural events are perfect for either singles or couples, so make a date with yourself or someone else and enjoy the variety of programs offered. They’ve got something for everyone, from Open Mic erotica readings to burlesque workshops on How to Strip for Your Lover, and they’re all free of charge!

The Triangle Project, Good Vibration’s partnership with the LGBT community, follows its successful Lesbian Sex Toy Soiree with a new Gay Boy Sex Toy Soiree, an in-store pleasure party tailored to men who like men and the toys that can add variety, pleasure and safer play options to their sex lives.

In celebration of Anal Health and Pleasure Month in August, Ask the Doctors, Good Vibrations’ educational lecture series, featured an anal Q&A with Dr. Robert Lawrence and Good Vibrations Staff Sexologist Dr. Carol Queen. Doctors Lawrence and Queen will be returning in September to conduct an Ask the Doctors lecture on Beginning BDSM just before San Francisco’s landmark event, Folsom Street Fair. Upcoming classes addressing specific woman-focused issues will also be presented by Good Vibrations’ women’s sexual health and wellness program, Women Like Me.

As part of GV Arts & Culture, the GV Gallery showcases outstanding art and photography exhibits. Currently featured is renowned fine artist and San Francisco Arts Task Force Chair Debra Walker’s installation “Fruit, another luscious moment,” paintings of sensuous fruit, signifying the body. Past exhibits include famous African-American portrait and figure photographer, AIDS activist Duane Cramer. Duane has photographed presidents, politicians and celebrities. His work also includes stunning images from the African-American community.
